SASSA R350 SRD have played a major role to many South African and it still does to some , however now that the covid-19 level have been lifted , the new amended rules have left many crying .Since SASSA now have limited budget for SRD ,only 10 million lucky people will be paid each month.

Why SASSA SRD applicants are declined?

Here are few reasons:

  1. The applicant declined because of the “ UIF registered SASSA Declined” reason.
  2. The applicant were found on the NSFAS database
  3. The applicant was receiving other social grant from SASSA
  4. The age group of the applicant does not fall within the required age groups.

According to UIF , those Declined by SASSA SRD because of “UIF registered” do not have to go to UIF offices to be removed on the UIF database; rather they must appeal the decision directly with SASSA at   srd.dsd.gov.za

How to appeal for SRD Grant declined?

The is nothing stoping you from appealing for Declined SRD grant now If you are eligible for the SRD grant, you have to lodge an appeal on SASSA new appeal website   (  https://srd.dsd.gov.za/appeals/ ). Remember , for each rejected month you can appeal , and only appeal the for the month you qualify for.
