Anglo American has open new Engineering Learnership Programme for 2022 at the following five locations: Rustenburg, Polokwane, Thambazimbi, Mokopane, and Burgersfort.
1. Rustenburg Engineering Learnership
The successful candidates will be afforded an opportunity to enrol in an external Unemployed (18.2 B1) Learnerships programme leading to the selected qualification as a qualified Artisan.

2. (Thabazimbi) Amandelbult Complex Engineering Learnership
The successful Candidates will be afforded an opportunity to enroll in an external Unemployed (18.2 B1) Three-year Learnership programme leading to the selected qualification as a qualified Artisan.

Our Three-year Artisan Learnership Program is an enrichment program for the community and will enable you to develop skills with classroom and on-the-job/core training at Amandelbult Mine.
This Program will enable you to maximize your potential along with a tailored plan to provide you with a future to make a difference. As you progress through your Artisan learnership program, we will help you discover your real capability and develop your skills as an Artisan
Training Programs for Artisan Learner will consist of:
- 1st year: Institutional training at ESTC, Engineering Skills Training Centre.
- 2nd year: On-the-job/core training at Mogalakwena Mine.
- 3rd year: Complete trade test

3. Engineering Learnership – Mogalakwena Mine (Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic, Boilermaker/Plater, Rigger and Fitter)
The successful Candidates will be afforded an opportunity to enroll in an external Unemployed (18.2 B1) Three-year Learnership programme leading to the selected qualification as a qualified Artisan.
